After church, Dot and Darling got ahold of the Pastor's baby at church. I think this was one of Darling's highlights of the year! A baby!! In her arms!! Oh, the joy! and Oh, the misery! when we left. She cried alot of the way home about leaving the baby. Only the promises, that we might see the baby later at the Christmas play, stemmed the tide of mournful entreaties to go back to "Baby!"
Of course, we had to take a few other pictures with the girls. :-)
Deer is under the left wreath, slightly behind the shepherd in green.
She was playing charades with Zachariah to find out what happened in the temple. They did a great job. Don't you love Zachariah's full beard! :-)
Duke and Dessert weren't in the play this year. They just don't like doing it, and I guess my dh and I are getting old enough that we don't want to fight with them to participate. They really enjoyed watching it!
I can hardly believe it is Christmas week already. I'm feeling alot more ready for Christmas. I just have alot of baking to do. Dh and I did our annual mini shopping trip. I usually do most of the shopping, but we do one supper out and shopping trip to do some together. I love it!!

What cute pics! That is too sweet that she didn't want to leave the baby.
I gave up on the play with the kids. Between most of them not wanting to do it, and my lack of memory to even get to practices, I just quit having the kids in them.
Very cute pics of Darling with the baby. She's such a little mommy.
Both of your older girls did a great job yesterday, Dot with her violin during the service and Deer as Elizabeth. Her timing and delivery were great with the part where they were playing charades. That was hilarious! We only went to see CJ sing, but he got stage fright at the last minute and didn't even go up there. I'm glad we saw the program anyway, it was very cute.
Looks like it was a great program! I wish we could have been there, but with the cold weather we opted to stay home. (Plus being this preggo, I get nervous about the snow and ice with falling).
Very cute pictures, and it is so sweet with your "baby" holding little C! :) TOoooO cute!
Hope you had a great Christmas~
What great pics!! Dot did a GREAT job playing the violin, and Deer did wonderful in the play!!! You have such a talented family, and working with your kids is such a joy (they are so responsible and fun)! I love the pics with Darling and Little C, they are soooo sweet!! You can see the joy on her face while she is holding the "baby," she is such a sweetheart!!
