Good News

The good news is that I had my heart test and everything looks great! We don't have an answer for the reason I had a blood clot in my eye but it is not something that has created a problem in my heart. PTL!

Dessert has had a bit of a fever today. Not terribly sick but just under the weather.

Our plum tree is falling over under the weight of its fruit! It is loaded!! Makes me think of times when I feel like I'm falling over under the weight of too much good fruit. :-) Dunk is planning to prop it up and help it out. I hope it makes it!! It has been a very good, faithful plum tree.

Besides chores, here's what the kiddos have been up to:
Deer has been working on her painting. It is a detailed kittens picture and will require quite a few hours to finish it. She brings it out occasionally and works on it.
Dot has been experimenting with making earrings with the beads we have around. Several have turned out quite tasteful.
Duke has been trying out a perler bead craft kit where he puts the beads on the plastic form and then after he's done I iron them to keep them together. He's been patient with the time it takes to put all the beads on in order. I wish I could show a picture of their finished projects.
Drum has been working on painting a small wooden airplane. The practice with his small dexterity skills is good.
Dime hasn't started any craft projects lately. He's been enjoying spending time helping and watching Papa W up the hill. I think they both enjoy it. :-) He takes time out occasionally to bring home a toad or salamander.
Dessert enjoys any mischief he can bring to anyones project. Everything looks more interesting than what he could do. He has experimented with scissors lately to the demise of Daisy's favorite shorts and a couple nice pj's. He had observed Gma W cutting up a bathrobe to sew a Star Wars robe and it was after that he tried out his own fabric skills. Hopefully he has a clearer understanding now of what may and may not be cut. :-)

Dunk has been busy with work and occasionally getting overtime. We have really enjoyed how close to home he is working. He continues to check the Sunday paper for businesses and we are still praying for direction as to whether he should pursue another field, in case he gets laid off again.
